Old Guy Question™ What music scene is pushing the limits these days? Back in the late 90s/early 00s if you were to put on an EDM show, the amount of handshakes and money changing hands was HIGH. It was common that shows were getting canceled on the fly.Permalink On twitter.com

Hip Hop had a really similar break. You'd see huge acts in both of these genres at tiny ass venues unless the promoters had put something together so big (see: Massives) that the police were outright involved.Permalink On twitter.com

I'm old now and don't have the spirit to make for "cult underground following of genre of music leads to shows changing location at 11pm because the cops got mad" So, where is it happening? Do I know anybody who is actually hip?On twitter.com
