  1. This might be a cynical take, but once you get to this point, it’s probably over. I’ve never seen a recovery that wasn’t a stop gap. A few weeks of vacation isn’t going to do it. People who are truly burnt out normally need a life change. A significant one. EricaJoy/1453047253199818754

      Sabbaticals could prevent this! But it’s probably too late if you’re offering them post burnout. If you truly want to help them, give them six months of time off.

        Like. They won’t come back from that but at least they’ll still like you and that pays off long term given how tight this industry can be.
