ASpittel I've been _all_ over the stack and there is nothing quite like "inconsistent specs + inconsistent networks + inconsistent user agents" to mix with rapidly changing tools and a field that's largely scared to use one of its best features (semantic html and css)

ASpittel Not to mention: - dependency management largely being built for something else entirely - delivering high performance sites being a thing that consistently has "tricks" to it that you need to weirdly memorize - state management is a nightmare

ASpittel - We've prioritized tools that are largely not for what we need and then convinced every new dev they need to use them to build a tiny site then convinced ourselves we need them - This leads to decision paralysis in newer devs - Oh, the JS event loop

ASpittel - Every hard problem in distributed computing? You've got it! - I haven't even gotten to the fact that you're building the face of the business, so welcome to STAKEHOLDERS
