    1. A thing that happens a lot in the workplace is new leadership coming in and instituting new process that has worked for them. Sensible. What also mostly happens with this is no examination of “How could it fail? How would we know? How do we fix it?” And this is how we bomb out.

    I’ve felt this effect from others. I’ve done it myself. Sometimes it’s hubris. Sometimes it’s just being overwhelmed. Sometimes we just need to tell people up front “This is going to hurt. I’ve considered that. Here’s how it probably will. Here’s the long term benefit”
