varjmes There is no chip/pin at restaurants for the most part. The server will bring you the bill. You will give them a card (visa or master card are taken everywhere). They will take it away and swipe it and then come back with a receipt with the amount charged plus three blank lines

varjmes One for tip. One for total (meal price plus tip). One for your signature. You fill those in and walk away. Nobody comes to check, etc.

varjmes It’s worth it to check with your bank/credit card issuer for foreign transaction fees. Ones that have them get expensive quickly.
